Cheung Sing-Hei (Kevin Cheng) was sent to prison for murdering his stepfather, the witness of the case turns out to be his cousin brother Tong Lap-Yin (Roger Kwok). Ten years later, Hei was released from prison. At that time, Yin has become one of the city's most famous people, but Hei is left with nothing at all. Feeling suspicious about the case that took place ten years ago, he is desperate to find out the truth behind his stepfather's death. Kong Jai develops a crush on Ding Ding, but soon finds out that she likes Sam. Tim Sir's wife, Charlie dies after being accidentally poisoned by a nurse. Although Tim says he is not ready for another serious relationship, he develops feelings for Siu Yau and vice versa.
Sam meets a young girl named Mon, who has been taking many wrong paths in her life and he is helping her to get her life back on track. Sam writes books about crime-solving and murder, which Mon enjoys very much. What Sam does not know is that Mon has strong feelings for him. Mon is jealous of Ding Ding because Sam is dating her. But one particular day, the police force is called to a very strange case. The murder victims have been killed in the same way the victims were in Sam's books! When the force begins to suspect Mon - they find her dead. Who is this strange serial killer and why are they killing people following Sam's books?


Sophisticated banker CHEUK YAT YUEN (Ray Lui) mistakes con artist SA FU LOI (Gallen Lo) for his half brother CHEUK YAT MING, fortuitously elevating the swindler to one of the leading figures in the banking industry. The identity of CHEUK YAT MING gives FU not only a sense of family warmth but also a sweet taste of romance. He finds himself in love with YUEN’s little sister CHEUK YAT SUM (Anita Yuen). SUM is attracted to FU too but thinking that they are true biological siblings, she decides to keep her love under wraps and stays with her long-term admirer KO TOK MAN (Joe Ma) instead. This comes as a huge blow to FU. He is not willing to lose his love, but neither can he reveal his real identity. Caught up in the dilemma between love and money, FU finally chooses the fortune road of no return.

It is all about a tough battle for money, a devious triangle of love, and a severe challenge to ethics.

Having lost her father at an early age, farm security guard Chan Sai-Mui (Yumiko Cheng) grew to be an outspoken and determined woman who would do her utmost to protect her home village. Out of the blue, Yu-Cheung's opponent in the final turns out to be Wing Man-Kwan.
Yu-Cheung and Wing Man-Kwan were both exhausted by fighting each other in the final, both wanting to win so badly. Eventually, Yu-Cheung's master told Yu-Cheung to lose the battle, not wanting him to die or to kill.
After the tournament, Yu-Cheung and his family found evidence to prove to everyone that Wing Tak is guilty. Wing Tak began to use cruel ways again to save himself. He even kidnapped Ying Ngan-Ming. Will he succeed in fooling everyone again?

He has cured a patient suffering from binge eating disorder SUEN KA PIK (Vivien Yeo). They have overcome a lot of difficulties and become a couple. YAN is a divorced single father with a daughter. After the failed marriage, he did not long for love affairs until he chanced upon an Inspector of Serious Crime Unit MOK MAN YEE (Tsui Tsz Shan, Kate). They have gradually developed their relationship through business contact. However, in order to avoid recurrence of genetic mental disease, YEE detaches her feeling from YAN.

Crime Unit Senior Inspector, YIU HOK-SUM (Bowie Lam) has learnt his mind reading skills overseas. He is efficient and, by far, the most competent cop in his unit. KIT gains approval and he is determined to start anew. While carrying out an investigation on a fraud syndicate, he comes upon his missing wife and uncovers her long-hidden identity.

But Ka-Bo's ex-girlfriend Cheung Hiu-Man ( Sonija Kwok ) and SUM's grandmother Ko Li Shuk Ching ( Lee Heung Kam ) turn out to be the biggest obstacle to their relationship, leaving the pair stranded in dismay along the tunnel of love.

Imperial Household Bureau is responsible for managing and directing all household services to the Emperor and the Imperial family in Tang Dynasty. It is composed of four departments, namely Jewels, Attire, Food and Furnishings. Lau Sam-ho (Charmaine Sheh) and Yiu Kam-ling (Tavia Yeung) are introduced into the bureau in their tender age and brought up in the disciplines of the palace. The two girls are diligent. Yuen Tsui-wan (Susanna Kwan), Head of the Jewels, and Chung Suet-ha (Michelle Yim), Head of the Attire, are both very fond of Ho for she is a kind-hearted young girl. Soon, they start fighting for the fellowship of Ho.

Ho always remembers her mother's words left to her before she passed away, that she was told, "Doing good deeds, speaking good words, showing good will." She lives her life of being gracious and kind-hearted in the palace. On the other hand, Ling believes her survival in palace is achieved through cruel and calculating tactics. She cheats and schemes her way to the top and finally becomes the concubine. Though she realizes that Ho has fallen in love with the chess master Ko Hin-yeung (Kevin Cheng), her jealousy still arouses by Ho's attraction to the Emperor Lee Yi (Moses Chan). Fearing that she is losing power, she ruthlessly makes up a false allegation against Ho for murdering the Empress (Mary Hon) and condemns her to death. No matter how clever she is to scheme, things do not go the way she planned. By using a strong comparison of the two distinctive characters, Ho and Ling, the message of the drama is that "benevolence" is the only way to gain final victory.


Stage play actor KAN SIU NAM (Adam Cheng) went through a huge personality change after his daughter went missing for several years and ends up divorcing his wife MOK LAI HING (Rebecca Chan). Since then, SIU NAM concentrated entirely on his theater acting job. Synopsis:

He trained KA SING and mute female boxer DING YAN CHI (Nancy Wu) in becoming boxing champions, but at the same time his senior TING's jealousy grew into hatred.
